Q1: What is the difference between Polydatin and Resveratrol? And which should we choose?

A: Polydatin is the natural glycoside form of resveratrol (compared with a glucose molecule), and it is hydrolysed into trans resveratrol in vivo or upon skin penetration to exert its efficacy. Protected by the glucosyl group, polydatin features a stable molecular structure with strong resistance to oxidative discolouration and photodegradation, overcoming the key formulation defect whereby free resveratrol easily triggers yellowing in creams and serums.
