L-Asparagine Anhydrous is an occurrence form of asparagine. Compared with monohydrate, the key difference is that its crystal structure doesn’t contain water of crystallization.

1.It is applied to preparate high concentrations of the pharmaceutical preparations. The molecular weight of the anhydrous substance , which is 132.12 , is approximately 12% lower than the molecular weight of the monohydrate ,which is 150.13, which means at the same weight that anhydride can provide more asparagine molecules. In other words, reducing moisture content creates more space for active ingredients.

  

2.It is used for moisture-sensitive chemical syntheses that primarily includes organometallic catalysis reactions, strong base reaction systems or specific peptide conjugation reactions.

  

3.It is used for waterless skincare trends. Because the water of crystallization may cause oil and water to be immiscible, or may lead other active ingredients (such as vitamin C and certain peptides) to be prone to oxidative hydrolysis, oil-based serums, stabilized vitamin C powder or high-activity repair ointments must use anhydride.
